Tell us about your professional path or personal successes and achievements.
I started my career as a teacher in 2010, when I was studying for a master's degree: I gave lectures on higher mathematics for the 1st and 2nd courses of the Faculty of Biology. After graduating from university, I devoted several years to "banking". However, in 2017, fate again gave me the opportunity to be in the role of a teacher – a teacher of computer science. "Nothing happens by chance in life," and the profession of a teacher is the most fascinating and unpredictable. Once you get into this "whirlpool of knowledge", you continue to swim, knowing that there are still so many new and interesting things ahead.
A teacher can teach a lot. But do not forget about the main values that schoolchildren should remember for the rest of their lives, for example, that in any situation you need to remain human. In the modern world, it is necessary to show students how expensive what we have is and how it can all be saved. And the easiest way to start is with what surrounds us all – this is our nature! Being a supporter of WWF Russia, I try to involve students in projects for the conservation of rare species of animals, to teach them to appreciate and protect nature, our planet.
04
What is attractive for you to work in the North?
It is no longer the work itself that attracts, but the people, the team, the attitude of the people. The Northern mentality is hospitality, responsiveness, kindness, trust, support. The working team becomes a "native family" for you.
05
What pain points of your city or region as a whole could you highlight?
Medical care: there are not enough specialized specialists for adults, children's doctors; the quality of public services: water supply, heating.
06
What suggestions could you give regarding the further development of your city or region?
Preservation of ecology, nature and wildlife of the northern region, as well as the revival of national traditions, traditions of the indigenous peoples of the North.
07
Three main reasons to visit the North?
A) The northern landscapes beckon, they look unshakable and monolithic. The beauty of the northern nature is fascinating, especially in the autumn and winter periods (bright colors, mushrooms, berries, northern lights, snow-capped tops of hills, dragon eggs beach).
B) White nights – these days the sun does not go below the horizon for many days - an unusual phenomenon for people from the "middle band" of our Homeland.
C) Northern fishing will delight anyone, because this is a real adventure for those who want to get into the spirit of the Arctic.
08
What kind of parting words would you give to the younger generation living in the northern territories and facing the choice of a future profession?
You need to follow your dream and try your hand no matter what, never stop at what you have achieved, always set new goals for yourself and bring them to life!
Forward and only forward! –
To where new roads are waiting for us.
Where the heart calls
You and people like you... not many…
Go ahead!
(Grigory Kudashov)
