The questionnaire
01
Place of work and position. What is your main activity?
At the moment I work at the correctional school of Novodvinsk (GBOU JSC "SKOSH No. 5") as a speech therapist teacher.
02
A motto for life, an active position or a favorite quote that reflects you?
If you want to understand life, then stop believing that,
what they say and write, but watch and feel.
A.P. Chekhov.
I am a very sensitive person and my intuition rarely fails me. You just need to listen to yourself more often and trust your feelings.
03
Tell us about your professional path or personal successes and achievements.
I started my work at the city-forming enterprise Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill and did not think at all to connect my life with pedagogy. At one point, psychology began to attract me. I wanted to study and change something in my life. At that time, only two directions, speech therapy and defectology, were accepted to the correspondence department at SAFU. I chose defectology! And I have not regretted for a single day that I chose this particular direction.
With the beginning of training, she changed her specialty to a kindergarten teacher. I immediately found a common language with the children, and a trusting, respectful relationship was built with the parents. But this was only the beginning of my pedagogical path. Having defended my bachelor's degree with excellent marks, I got a job at a secondary school in my hometown for the vacant position of a speech therapist teacher. The new specialty required new, in–depth knowledge and I continued my studies, enrolling in a master's degree in speech therapy.
After completing my master's degree, I was invited to work at a correctional school. I am very grateful for this occasion. The children who study at our correctional school are very interesting. Every lesson, not only do I teach them something, but they also teach me. All children are different and everyone needs their own approach.
I want to constantly learn, improve, and the engine of my desire is our special students. I have not regretted for a single day that I went to correctional pedagogy.
04
What is attractive for you to work in the North?
I believe that where I was born, I came in handy there. Our city is small, the request for correctional teachers is large. They are simply not enough. For this reason, I am realized here in my native northern city.
05
What pain points of your city or region as a whole could you highlight? What suggestions could you give regarding the further development of your city or region?
The city of Novodvinsk is a mono city. And the problems of all single-industry towns are the same. There is a large outflow of young people, young families and they can be understood, they are thinking about the future, there are much more opportunities in big cities. For this reason, I believe that our Northern Region, a rich region, would not "grow old", it is necessary to create all conditions for young people, for young families. Decent wages, affordable medicine, affordable housing – all this will help us stop the migration from small towns to large ones. We have a very rich region, fertile land, diamonds lie in the bowels of the northern land ......we must not let the North perish.
06
Three main reasons to visit the North?
1. Amazing nature. The cold, harsh White Sea, the incredible stone landscapes of Karelia, the mysterious Cue Island, the Solovetsky Islands with their own history. Forests with tall pines and dry moss, flowering meadows. You can only see so many shades of green in the North.
2. Amazing gastronomic journey:
-gifts of the sea and numerous rivers: salmon, cod, herring, pike, trout, smelt and much more;
-gifts of dense forests: porcini mushrooms, pears, cranberries, cloudberries, lingonberries, blueberries.
All this gastronomic abundance is combined in the northern cuisine.
3. People (Northerners) and traditions.
Despite the cold, harsh climate, people in the north are very "warm", kind, open. And our Northern traditions are the same as open, fascinating, lingering people. All of them are carefully kept by the Northerners.
07
What kind of parting words would you give to the younger generation living in the northern territories and facing the choice of a future profession?
My eldest daughter is finishing the ninth grade, the choice of profession is acutely facing her. I understand that if there are no changes for the better in our city (ecology, youth welfare, affordable housing and medicine, the opening of sports and leisure centers), she will not want to stay here. I set her up for professions that are in demand in our city - this is a teacher, a doctor, but the choice is hers! I teach my daughter not to be afraid of difficulties. Feel free to go to your dream!

Tell us about your hobbies and hobbies
I have a lot of hobbies. I go to the Zumba, to the sauna, I like to bake pies (my children especially like buns and pancakes). But now I have another hobby - the cottage. It was the first summer at my dacha!!! So much has been done and how much is still in the plans. The season is closed, and we are already waiting for next summer and miss our summer, country days.
