Work in the north has its own special taste. Difficult climatic conditions, pristine nature, not always comfortable living conditions, especially if you are engaged in the construction of large industrial facilities (for example, the coastal oil treatment complex in the harsh subarctic conditions of Chaivo, or the development project of the Odoptu oil and gas field. (The facilities are intended for the preparation of stabilized oil and natural gas, which is supplied to consumers in the Russian Far East, or pumped into the reservoir to maintain reservoir pressure)

Such regions as Sakhalin Island live at the expense of the Sakhalin-1 and Sakhalin-2 oil and gas projects.
