WOMEN OF THE NUCLEAR INDUSTRY OF RUSSIA AND BULGARIA WILL HOLD AN INTERNATIONAL OPEN DIALOGUE "WOMEN IN ENERGY"

The Association of Women in the Nuclear Industry launches international open dialogues between women specialists working in the nuclear sector. Such a format will give a new impetus to the development of fruitful international cooperation and competent interaction for the exchange of best practices in the global dialogue of women in the nuclear industry from different countries.
The first bilateral meeting will be held on March 30 at 12:00 Moscow time between the Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry of Russia and WiN Bulgaria (the national branch in Bulgaria of the international movement WiN Global), which will be attended by employees of nuclear power plants.

The meeting was organized to exchange experience and establish a constructive bilateral dialogue on professional competencies and the work of women in generally recognized "male" specialties. The participants will discuss the role of women in the nuclear power industry, exchange experience in engineering and technical professions, share the secrets of success and their professional competencies, advanced developments and outline the vector of joint development and promotion of nuclear technologies. We will learn what it's like to be a woman in STEM at a nuclear power plant.
The moderator of the meeting will be Nina Mircheva, Icona Communications, Bulgaria.
On the part of WIN Bulgaria, the meeting will be attended by:
- Albena Roshkova – Senior Reactor Operator of the Kozloduy NPP;
- Styliana Mladenova - Head of the Nuclear Safety Department of the Kozloduy NPP.
The Association of Women of the Russian Nuclear Industry will be represented at the meeting by female specialists from the Beloyarsk Nuclear Power Plant (Beloyarsk NPP).
- Svetlana Chesnokova - Radiochemist Engineer of the Radiation Safety Department of the Beloyarsk NPP;
- Ekaterina Kvacheva is an engineer at the Beloyarsk NPP.
Coordinator of the meeting from the Russian side: Anna Dymnikova, employee of the Beloyarsk NPP, ambassador of the Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry in Zarechny.
Snezhina Tsvetanova, Director of the Professional Gymnasium of Nuclear Power Engineering in Kozloduy (Bulgaria), will take part in the meeting as a guest.
The participants of the meeting will also talk about how to combine work and family life, and why the popularity of work in the nuclear industry among women is growing.
The event will be held in Russian and Bulgarian. For the convenience of the meeting participants and listeners, an online translator will work.
