On the verge of the International Forum ATOMEXPO-2024, the International Committee of Rosatom's Women's Community conducted a number of teleconferences with partners from Tunisia, Morocco and Bangladesh to discuss joint plans for the ongoing year.
● An agreement was reached with colleagues from Bangladesh to organize the first joint event in a hybrid format on the basis of an educational institution of the Republic of Bangladesh and to create a roadmap of joint activities for 2024.
● An agreement was reached with colleagues from Tunisia to organize regular teleconferences to discuss the development of cooperation within the framework of the signed agreement on the areas of the women's agenda of the two countries. Rosatom's Women's Community will provide guidance to colleagues from Tunisia on organizing and conducting mentoring sessions "Women in STEM". The partners' interest in sending female students of Tunisian technical universities to study in Russia on master's and postgraduate programs related to nuclear science was noted.
● With colleagues from Morocco, represented by Rajaâ Cherkaoui El Moursli, Professor of Nuclear Physics, Faculty of Sciences, Mohammad V University in Rabat, an agreement was reached to continue the dialogue, to hold a meeting with the President of WiN Morocco and indicated willingness to take an active part in the events held by the Russian side.
