With the participation of the Association's Ambassador Yulia Larkina, an Atomic Quest was held in Sarov - a career guidance event for schoolchildren dedicated to the 115th anniversary of the birth of Yu.B. Khariton. The event was organized by specialists of the RFNC-VNIIEF.
⠀
An unusual technical task for creating a mock-up of an atomic bomb was received by schoolchildren of Sarov Lyceum No. 15 as part of the atomic quest "RDS" on guard of the world".
⠀
Inspired by scientific exploits, young scientists "scattered" to laboratories, departments and services, where they had to not only decipher secret data, but also conduct chemical experiments, as well as learn about the history and multidisciplinary areas of work of the city-forming enterprise.
⠀
As a result, six "atomic charges" created during the business game "RDS" on guard of the world" were successfully presented to the scientific council.
⠀
Schoolchildren got a unique opportunity to apply knowledge from the school curriculum and communicate with young scientists.
