      // News of the association

      On the first day, one of the key international venues in the Far East welcomed the guests with a rich cultural and business program.

      This year, the women's agenda for the WEF - 2022 received wide coverage.

      On September 5, a session of the Eurasian Women's Forum "Building a socially oriented economy in the Partnership of Women W20, APEC, BRICS" was held within the framework of the VII Eastern Economic Forum.

      The session participants discussed issues of consolidating the efforts of international associations to create conditions for the empowerment of women around the world and strengthening ties between participating countries.

      Co-founder of the Foundation "Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry", member of the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum under the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Alexandra Ryabykh in the course of her speech spoke about the potential of women in scientific and technical industries, the activities of the Association, contributing to the international dialogue of specialists in high-tech industries and increasing the role of women in the development of innovation.

      Alexandra Ryabykh noted that women's cooperation in high-tech industries is one of the main tasks of the professional women's community of Rosatom: "The women's agenda is important and multifaceted, and many events held by the Association with the support of the Eurasian Women's Forum allow building strategic partnerships with foreign colleagues, looking for opportunities for consolidation efforts in the interests of women, and also become a supportive platform that forms new initiatives. The geography of our community is rapidly developing abroad. Today, the pool of our ambassadors includes girls from Turkey, South Africa, Armenia, Singapore, Egypt, India, as well as applications from Bolivia, Kazakhstan and Brazil. We are very pleased that with the assistance of the EZHF Council, the SPIEF supported the initiative of the Russian side to create an International Council for the Support and Development of Women in Industry and Technology. Such a new format will contribute to the implementation of innovative programs and projects for the development of technological leadership among women experts. "

      The session was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Galina Karelova, Director of the Sub-regional Office for Eastern and North-East Asia of the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) Ganbold Baasanjav (Mongolia), Co-Chair in the "Women's Twenty" from the Republic of Indonesia Uli Silalahi (Indonesia), Sherpa of the Republic of South Africa in the W20 Narnia Boler-Muller (South Africa), Ambassador for Special Assignments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Senior Official of the Russian Federation in the APEC Forum Kirill Barsky, Vice-Rector of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Sherpa of Russia in the Women's Twenty (W20) Victoria Panova, Executive Director of the Association of Grant-giving Organizations "Donor Forum" Alexandra Boldyreva.
