The development of the STEM hub project is of particular importance for the industry women's community. The Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry together with the Eurasian Children's Community organized a unique master class for representatives of the new generation of 13-16 years with the participation of STEM experts. The format of intergenerational communication took place in a modern hybrid format. The younger generation actively participated in the dialogue, the guys asked their questions to experts and received competent answers and up-to-date information from professionals in their field.
The master class was attended by schoolchildren from educational institutions in Moscow and Novouralsk.
The topics of discussion touched upon such areas as ecology, where Ekaterina Kharchenko, an expert of JSC "Greenatom" told about the social environmental project "Ecolife", Elena Onyakova, head of the Infrastructure Solutions Group of the CHU "Digital" involved teenagers in the topic "Digital products of Rosatom". The direction of digitalization of the industry and modern digital solutions aroused great interest among the participants of the master class. In turn, Yulia Soldatova, radiometrist engineer of the 1st category of the radiation safety group of FSUE Atomflot, shared her professional experience and immersed schoolchildren in the profession of "engineer". Tatiana Nasyrova, Head of the Department of FSUE "PSZ" touched on the topic of "Safety culture" and spoke about the importance of forming responsibility for your life and the lives of others from a young age.
Summing up the meeting, Karelova Lyubov, co-founder of the Eurasian Children's Community, stressed the importance of STEM education in the modern world, the need and importance of holding such meetings with experts in an intergenerational dialogue for a conscious determination of the future profession.
