On June 16, the program of Uniting women in the nuclear industry at the exhibition space of the Eurasian Women's Forum at SPIEF 2022 was continued by the international dialogue of women technology leaders "Cooperation and Cooperation for the development of the Arctic"
The moderator was Alexandra Ryabykh, co-founder of the Foundation for the Support and Development of Women's Initiatives "Association of Women of the Nuclear Industry", curator of the project of the EZHF Council "Women of the Nuclear Industry: Vector of development".
The speakers of the event were:
Lyubov Glebova, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Constitutional Legislation and State Construction, spoke about public-state cooperation in the Arctic region and the need to support the northern territories for the development of socially significant initiatives, - "The public-state nature of any action ensures its success. The Arctic agenda is one of the most important issues. It is absolutely impossible to build it without public institutions, especially in such directions – this is an axiom. In our country, women initiate social initiatives. And it is the woman, as the keeper of any hearth, who is the leading force in the development of the Arctic zone."
Terentyeva Tatiana Anatolyevna, Deputy General Director for Personnel of Rosatom State Corporation, spoke about the Arctic and social projects implemented by Rosatom State Corporation in the northern territories, highlighting the importance of the project of Uniting Women in the nuclear industry - "Women in the Arctic". The speaker also presented effective personnel strategies to ensure the formation of highly qualified specialists, - "The future of Russia is inextricably linked with the development of the Arctic. Despite the fact that Artkika is a masculine, harsh climate, but 49% of the inhabitants of the northern territories are women. And indeed, a woman plays an important role in the development of these territories. The main goal of the projects is to attract the attention of women and young people, if we are talking about the future."
Elvira Ramilovna Nurgalieva, First Deputy General Director for Social Development, JSC "Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic", presented the priority focuses, key areas and scope of projects implemented in the Arctic zone, and also spoke about how cooperation is being built within them.
Kigi Diana Sergeevna, senior assistant to the captain of the nuclear icebreaker "50 Years of Victory" of FSUE Atomflot, spoke about the projects of FSUE Atomflot that are open to the participation of female specialists.
Irina Vernerovna Gaida, an expert of the autonomous non-profit educational organization of higher education "Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology", an independent member of the Board of Directors of PJSC NOVATEK, Chairman of the Board of the Association "Women in Energy", shared what projects in the interests of the development of the Arctic are implemented by women of the scientific and technological community.
Colleagues from Denmark and Canada also took part in the discussion in an online format:
Pirot Heather Exner (Canada), consultant on management and economic development of indigenous peoples "Exner-Pirot Kosalting Inc.", "Morris Interactive Inc." - "Despite all the difficulties that occur in the international arena, we must continue cooperation in the field of science, as the Russian Arctic undoubtedly occupies a huge territory and Russian experts should participate in the dialogue. As the editor-in-chief of the Arctic Yearbook, I have kept the theme of the year "Russian Arctic" adopted in January 2022 and continue to interact with Russian scientists."

At the end of the event, all participants noted that the sustainable development of the Arctic zone, its dynamic industrial and economic development is directly related to the building of international and intersectoral cooperation, the formation of high-quality human capital, increasing innovation and social activity of citizens.
The holding of the international dialogue of women technology leaders "Cooperation and Cooperation for the development of the Arctic" was the first stage of the implementation of the project by the Association of Women of the nuclear industry "Women in the Arctic" as part of the victory in the grant competition of the Foundation "Co-operation" "Orthodox Initiative".
